Great Time At Holiday Party

December 14, 2011
DSC_0254_0108

The Dallas Cowboys nor the cold weather could keep neighbors from attending the annual holiday party at the pool clubhouse on December 4th. It was estimated that the turnout was more than in previous years with folks coming from every street and HOA in our area and beyond.

This joint effort between the neighborhood association and the swimming pool association is one of the biggest events held in Bryan Place each year. In addition to catered meals from Celebrations, there was a plethora of homemade and store bought goodies provided by residents and their guests.

After everyone had a bit to eat, a short meeting was called to vote on next year’s neighborhood board members, then an announcement from Wayne Smith about the upcoming public art dedication in Exall Park and encouraging participation on the swimming pool association board. Cotton Mendenhall was also acknowledged for his hard work on the swimming pool board.

The clubhouse was decorated for Christmas and some of the décor was given away as door prizes.

Congratulations to Gary and Joy Mitchell, Lexa Gurmendi, Carol Guthrie, Margaret Rogers, Carol Myers and Sergio, Mark Ingram, Patrick Holdrieth, and Natalie and Michael Harris for winning the beautiful poinsettias.
