Bryan Place Helped make it a Better Block

The spotlight was on Bryan Place and the Arts District last month as Better Block Project came to Ross Avenue. Several folks from the neighborhood, Dallas, and beyond came out to see our grand boulevard transformed into a more pedestrian friendly area. Citizens and vendors turned Ross Avenue into quite a spectacular street fair and a great time was had by all.
Several Bryan Place residents stepped up to participate in the 72 Hour Better Block project challenge by creating the Bryan Place Backyard Bike Shop. It became a place to park your bicycle, grab a refreshing beverage and snack then stroll down to check out the event.
A BIG thank you to all the volunteers who came together to create and manage our entry.
The Better Block initiative showed the potential of what Ross Avenue can become as demonstrated with the new sidewalk patio at Three Sheets created as part of the event.
